Hello there! We'd love to tell you more about ourselves and our lovely home, RyePark House.

In May 2015, we decided to leave Tonbridge in Kent to escape the hustle and bustle of the South East and discovered RyePark House by chance—and we're so grateful we did! It's truly a magical place to live and work, and we feel incredibly fortunate to call it our home.

Since moving here, we've fulfilled our dreams of growing our own vegetables and flowers, keeping our own animals, and living more sustainably. Our family has grown to include various creatures: two dogs, two cats, twelve sheep, and eleven chickens.  We hope to expand our animal family further in the future.

Why do we have holiday lets? Well, we simply love sharing our little piece of paradise with others! After all, the peace and beauty of RyePark House are just too good not to share.

We aim to provide you with a romantic escape to the country in this tucked-away setting, to let you experience what we have been so lucky to find. We offer a touch of luxury with everything provided that cross over between a hotel feel and self-catering independence, all at a reasonable price. I hope you will agree we have achieved just that once you have visited us.

We believe that holiday cottages should provide luxury and personal service and offer a great location. Luckily, we have the best location possible! Our surroundings are truly beautiful, with ancient woodland, a babbling river, untouched land for wildlife, as well as pasture and farmland. Despite being surrounded by all of this natural beauty, we are located just off Exmoor and its stunning coastline, near the area's golden beaches, and close to the various market towns and villages in the region. You couldn't ask for more - everything you need for a well-deserved break is here.

The Barn was our first holiday let and sits next to our farmhouse.  It is smaller than the Stables but is all on one level. It is a bright, calming, and spacious living space that will make you feel immediately at ease.  The open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area has a fully equipped kitchen which boasts all Neff appliances, including a Bake Off-worthy proving drawer. The bedroom has a king-size bed and is a calm space to unwind with an ensuite wet room shower room with a rainfall shower. The barn has the bonus of a completely private jacuzzi with views of the wood, which is a perfect romantic spot for stargazing.  It also has a table and chairs and BBQ.

The Stables is our latest addition, another one-bedroom barn conversion completed in the summer of 2019.  This is the largest of the two and has a wow factor with its large light mezzanine bedroom, super king bed and vaulted ceiling.  In addition, The Stables has a large bathroom with a double-ended deep bath and separate walk-in rainfall shower, a very modern kitchen with Neff appliances, an induction hob, a large fridge freezer, and a boiling water tap, not to mention the underfloor heating and wood-burning stove.  As if this were not enough, there is also a private south-facing terrace with a table and chairs for al-fresco dining, sunbathing, and a BBQ!  The Stables has everything you need and more for a wonderful escape to the country.
